Dr. Annie Sinnott is the Assistant Director at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She joined EMP in 2007. Dr. Sinnott was previously the Director at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio. She also served as the Resident Wellness Director and attending physician at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Sinnott completed EMP’s Scholar’s Program in 2010.
Dr. Sinnott received her undergraduate training at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Medical Degree from Des Moines Osteopathic University in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Sinnott completed a tracking internship followed by a family practice residency at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Sinnott is board certified in emergency medicine. She is also board certified in Family Practice. She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Emergency Medicine Residents Association, the American Academy of Emergency Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
