Brad A. Watling MD, FACEP, FAAEM
Director of Emergency Medicine

What is one thing most people don't know about you?
I have a rapid Reef fish tank hobby that takes up a lot of free time (so my wife says!).
What is the title of the last book you read?
Lone Survivor which was about Seal Team 10 in Afghanistan.
What do you like most about working for EMP?
I am new to EMP but our group had similar core values and Servant's heart, Owner's mind, teamwork and integrity says it all.
Describe one of the most rewarding experiences you've had in the ER.
I really enjoy the opportunity talking with war veterans in the ED. The most rewarding ones are the few World War II vets that have so much so say and even more to offer to younger generations regarding sacrifice and work ethic.
What person has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
My mom who raised 4 children as a single mother and all 4 turned out to be successful adults with great families (if you include me!).
