CMC-Steele Creek is at the intersection of South Tryon Street (Hwy. 49) and Steele Creek Road (Hwy. 160), across from Rivergate Shopping Center. This healthcare pavilion will help meet the outpatient healthcare needs of a dynamic, growing community. While new to our area, the healthcare pavilion concept is well-established in other parts of the country; three already have been approved by the state of North Carolina in our region.
Emergency Department
- An off-campus, hospital-based, 24-hour emergency department, staffed with board-certified emergency physicians
- A full service imaging center with CT scanner, X-ray, and ultrasound
- Observation beds for patients who may need extended examination and treatment; two private observation beds for monitoring by our medical staff
- Laboratory services
- Emergency transportation by ambulance and helicopter for critically ill or injured patients
- Direct access to advanced trauma services and expert resources at Carolinas Medical Center, the region's only Level I Trauma Center
