Emergency medicine has always been a passion of mine. I was in high school when I began volunteering with Stamford Emergency Medical Services, and continued working in the EMS field within our community through college.
Ironically not only have I learned how to practice emergency medicine, but the field has also taught me much about myself, human nature, and complex social issues. That being said, I was not surprised to find myself back at The Stamford Hospital working as an attending physician after graduation from residency training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is fitting to start my post graduate practice in the same institution where my introduction to emergency medicine first began.
It is not serendipitous that I was born in such a fantastic city, but that the majority of my family continues to live in the surrounding area and call Stamford home. I feel privileged to be back in my home town and look forward to many years of ongoing service at such a dynamic and innovative institution.
