At the forefront in the development of cost containment and utilization programs, RU emphasizes physician education to promote cost-effective emergency care. We use detailed information databases that report on all costs associated with an emergency department visit. Through the implementation of practice guidelines and physician profiling, we have made continuous improvements in efficiency and quality of our care, and we will continue to expand our Emergency Department solutions for even greater cost containment and resource utilization.
