- Dictated charting available 24 hours per day
- Emergency physicians do not write admitting orders
- Active in EMS, the department employs the local EMS Medical Director and Coordinator
- An active SANE program has been developed and is run by one oif the ED staff physicians
- Emergency Department staff physicians involved in multiple hospital committees - medical executive, patient care, trauma, disaster, ect

Cambridge is a small town of approximately 13,000 people situated east of Columbus, Ohio, near the intersection of Interstates 70 and 77. The county population is over 40,000, and the service area for the hospital includes over 120,000. A variety of housing options are available in Cambridge including newer homes, condominiums, nice apartments and building sites. Beautiful, older homes, farms and property are also available. Local schooling includes private Catholic and Christian programs. The area also hosts some local culture with several old theaters and a community center stage. Outstanding outdoor recreation is available at several nearby areas such as Salt Fork and Seneca Lake. Shopping and dining are available locally with more elaborate options in nearby St. Clairsville or Zanesville. The full range of metropolitan amenities are just an hour away in either Columbus or the Akron/Canton area, and the professional sports, Lake Erie, and other attractions in Cleveland are about an hour and 45 minutes north, with Pittsburgh being the same distance east.
